Founded in 2015 at the Center for Petroleum and Energy Studies at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, the HPG Lab stands as a multidisciplinary research group at the forefront of reservoir geophysics. Our core mission is to push the boundaries of understanding the Earth’s subsurface through the innovative integration of cutting-edge seismic processing techniques and the immense computational power of high-performance computing. This powerful synergy enables us to delve deeper into complex geological environments, extracting increasingly detailed and accurate information crucial for reservoir characterization and monitoring.
